Please look inside yourself and think about why you feel so strongly that the girl was responsible here. The NYT described an 18-year-old freshman who was given a lot of alcohol by older, more experienced upperclassmen who then bent her over a pool table and raped her anally in front of other students. Why don't you have anything to say about their behavior? Why were they not responsible for ensuring that she was able to consent? Why did they think it was OK to physically abuse and publicly humiliate a younger woman (by having sex with her in front of others who were laughing and filming it), even if she "consented"? Why did they think it was OK for multiple men to serially have sex with a woman they didn't even know?
