[/quote] This is true! Thank goodness my child still acts mostly sweet & innocent at 8. When he starts to show some attitude, we (his parents) react in ways to discourage it. If he continues to show attitude or behaviors that we don't like, we take away privileges and make sure he knows why. If his friends that come over are rude or disrespectful, they don't come over and he doesn't go to their house.[/quote]
