There are a few dcum posters who imply that parents who don't find MCPS adequately challenges their children must believe their children are geniuses. Perhaps I read too much into that post. [/quote] Yes, I am that PP. My kids were in the HGC and are in magnets now. I get it. OP's older child is 4. She cannot know at this point whether her kid will need, or qualify for gifted programs.[/quote]
