My DH kinda did this when we first met but it was a little different circumstances (had just had 1 meeting in person after "meeting" online). He kept texting me about stupid shit and never mentioned anything about another date. The next weekend came and went and he sent an email with a comment about something that happened on our first meet. I was tired of this chatting and no action so I replied something like "oh sorry, I do that when I'm in the company of a cute guy :)" within an hour, he was asking me for another date and well, the rest is history.
