It means they are practicing in a manner to help their patients more individually and perhaps use medications in an off label manner for instance. There are many constraints working with insurance, and it is time consuming to submit and bill insurance. The doctor's that have provided me with an individual plan of care and spent the time to talk to me, are not taking insurance. The doctors that take insurance must see at least 26 patients a day to stay a float. Plus their insurance reimbursement has decreased, so less time more patients. [/quote]
