But I put this sort of thing on the whole neighborhood.[/quote] The exclusion and isolation certainly sets this type of situation up ... a child who is never allowed to join the rest of the group becomes very desperate and will agree to do whatever it takes to be allowed to stay. Having "friends" that treat you badly is better than no "friends" at all. Add to that equation an inability to judge when one is being taken advantage of ...[/quote]
