PPs, I have a child in AAP, and her teacher was horrible. My DC wanted to go back to the regular class, as the teacher was so nasty. The teacher would tell the kids that most of them didn't belong there. Thankfully she went on maternity leave and a nicer person came in to sub. Maybe the OP is this teacher. I don't justify the nastiness, but I think you're projecting. Teachers are professionals, and I find it hard to believe that OP would tell the kids they don't belong there (and she's probably right). How dare you attempt to shame her? Ridiculous.

We all know AAP has become a commodity, and that people will do anything to try to get a spot, even if their kids would be perfectly well served in general ed. OP is just reinforcing that. It's truth.[/quote]
