Do you mind saying where? I just am not familiar w/the private schools in MD, & honestly, I do want diversity. Doesn't seem to be much in PG.
Not at all. Our child is headed to Holy Trinity Episcopal Day School in Bowie. They are the only independent school in Prince George's Co. There some diversity, but not much, but that's somewhat the nature of the county. If you're looking for private schools in MD with more diversity, have you given any thought to private schools in Annapolis? I believe The Key School and St. Ann's bus children from a commuter lot in Bowie to the schools in Annapolis. You'll have to double-check that information. Along with the Annapolis trek, there was also a heftier tuition. It is certainly do-able for some folks, but for us with two children, it wasn't. That's just a thought to consider. I got some really helpful information from the Private/Independent School thread on DCUM if that helps.
Thanks! This is helpful. I live in PG, but work in DC, so going to Annapolis...blah....I may have to look at DC $$$$$$$$$$$$$ :(
