Its that time of the year...and I have been following the threads closely...wanted to send a quick note...my very first one (along with a few questions of course :).

DC - Grade 4 now, appealing for Gr 5 /Sept 2014 school year for the first time. 
CoGAT Composite (taken in Oct 2013) - 135
GBRS- 12
SOL - Pass Advanced/Proficient which ever is higher in all 4 exams in Gr3.
Ecart Tests - 95% correct most times.

Found not eligible in April 2014.

Then we did the WISC4 last week at GMU- GAI 133 (99th %ile). [b]FSIQ - 127 [/b]( low cos the 2 batteries for speed and processing was a high average and not superior). The first battery for verbal was at 140 (99.6 %ile) There were 3-4 17's. A few 16's.

a) What are the chances ?
b) [b]GMU didn't give us the FSIQ ?[/b] Should I go back to GMU and get the FSIQ for him? Will our school system accept just the GAI plus the details of the subsets.

We are in the process of writing up the letter/collecting work samples etc. Any thoughts on the above 2 questions will be appreciated.

Are you asking if GMU didn't give you the FSIQ? You have it in your list of scores there. [/quote]

Hi there. Thanks 13:42 on seeking the additional clarification. We know what the FSIQ is for our ref. BUT GMU did not use the FSIQ on the final report card and used the GAI instead. My question is - will our school system accept GAI ? Will they raise an alarm since the GMU report didn't have the FSIQ ? ....essentially are they used to seeing GAI scores without the FSIQ scores on the wisc report.
