OP here: I agree with the above 100%.  My son also gets services by law as a special education child.  He too gets this regardless of whether he is in Gen. Ed or AAP.  This is required by law.  What would make less sense would be for the county to waste money on special ed. services that are not addressing his needs-this is what is happening now to a certain extent. [/quote]
