I cut it in long layers and style it with one of those blow dryer/curling iron/brush gizmos. Set with a little hairspray. Get regular trims. I don't get this obsession with long hair being unprofessional. The ladies who slick up their long, wet hair in a butterfly clip look unprofessional to me.
I pull my hair in a French twist when my hair is wet because if it dries like that, it will be less frizzy, more calm, and flatter for the next couple days.
If you say so. I think it looks like you rolled out of bed and put in the minimal effort. The VP at my old org used to do this....wet hair pulled into a clip, no makeup, sundress and flip flops. I mean, really? That's how I roll on the weekends - not when I want to be taken seriously in the office.
Do you have thick, curly frizz prone hair? Im guessing your hair is naturally straight
Well yeah....most people don't have curly hair, so it might have helped had you specified. THAT I get. Insisting that wearing any long hair down is unprofessional is just ignorant.
I dont think anyone should feel they have to pull their hair back all the time. I was just explaining why some women do the "wet hair in a French twist" thing sometimes. A few hours twice a week it may not look great, but it means my hair looks better once it dries.
