Right. Because there were no Loreleis/Lorelais before Gilmore Girls and every one born  after 2000 is GG inspired.

I hate this train of thought and it's not really fair. I have a child with the same name as character from a popular tv show and everybody asks me if that inspired his name. I'm like, no. He was born 2 years before the show even started. 
And even if it had been my inspiration, so what if we heard the name and liked it. Doesn't mean anything. [/quote]

Yeah and that's fine. Reactions are reactions, but it would be nice if people could manage not to be demeaning to people by using words like "down market," and in other threads, "trashy." Maybe keep it to yourself. There is absolutely nothing to be gained except ugliness by that nonsense.[/quote]
