If you have lived there for so long then WHY did you have multiple kids when you didn't have a viable school option the entire time?  
Most of us made the housing decisions years ago based on the knowledge that we would have kids someday.  We scrimped and saved and bought in areas we didn't want to live in based on our future school needs.  AND we only had one child.  we didn't have a second because we couldn't afford to.

OP - don't worry about that smug old poster.  Having a family of 4 is quite reasonable and, I'm sure, quite worth it.  Nobody could possibly be as perfect as Smug Poster.  She just likes living in the fantasy world that she's created.  You know, the one where you *think* you've done all the right things and, also, look down on those who you presume haven't means your life will be 100% awesome.  Seriously, she's a bitch.

As for your situation, please don't despair.  I don't have any solutions for you but I do have empathy.  I hope your little one thrives at her school -- whichever it may be. [/quote]
