[/quote] Agreed -- lots more emphasis on "American" food at Indian parties lately, though I think it's also because there are kids/pre-teens who just don't want Indian so it's easier to have American food available for them - but then when you know adults will eat some as well, you have to have more available than just for the kids. That being said, I haven't been to an Indian party with no Indian food -- much of the same stuff mentioned here is always available at Indian parties -- samosas, paneer of some kind, chole, some kind of chicken or kebab dish etc.[/quote]
