The implication that "immigrant" necessarily signifies poverty is incorrect, to put it mildly. I have the impression that many immigrants from Africa come from African middle class if not upper crust. They may be poor by American standards starting out, but the mentality and the values are certainly present in the family. I am happy for both young men and hope that they have great careers in college and beyond.[/quote]
