My ds had a 138 on verbal portion of Cogat two years ago and is in center. For other reasons we had him tested and got iq score of 114. It is what it is.[/quote +1 I have a 2E kid who scored very high on the COGAT, but scored at 117 FSIQ on the WISC. He has a very spikey profile, with processing speed being especially low. He's a a straight A student, though, and accepted at AAP. I also had a psychologist tell me that he is clearly highly gifted, despite the lower than expected score on the WISC. His teachers also say that he is gifted and I frequently hear "I've never had a kid like this."
