When you are ready to deal with it, start talking with your doctor, partner, and family about your options.  You have a wide range of options, and hopefully you will be able to find the one that works best for your unique situation.

For what it is worth, one of my best friends in the world suffered from infertility for years before finally adopting.  She was working on the adoption for years, when she suddenly got a call from a private party who had an unexpected/unplanned pregnancy.  The mother was recently divorced and already had several elementary aged children, and wasn't in a financial or emotional state to add another child to the family. There were a LOT more issues at play, but to make a long story short, she decided to pursue an open adoption with my friend.  That choice, however difficult, has resulted in so much happiness in this world.

Not to say you should give your child up for adoption.  I don't know your situation enough to even suggest that.  I'm just saying you have a range of options to consider, but you should go through your emotional rollercoaster first before turning to that.  You have a right to do that! [/quote]
