Anonymous wrote:I am considering GH for my 5 year old son. I would love to hear from people who have been on the Pre K program here. Is the program competitive? Are they really academic?
I have my two kids there: one is in Pre-K, age 4; one is in the "twos" classroom. This is the third and best daycare we have attended. The teachers are smart and the administration is highly organized. My older child recently went on a field trip to the Air and Space Museum. Her class is putting on a mini-play toward the end of March. They teach to the child's ability and this happens to be a very bright group of kids. I highly recommend the Georgetown Hill Preschool. As for the younger group, they have nearly all of the kids fully potty-trained by age three. They sing a lot, which my daughter loves. Both of my kids are giddy when we arrive in the morning. That must be a good sign.
