Not as though the GE kids there wouldn't benefit from a new facility and you can bet that the parents currently at Cooper will start whining when 200-300 AAP kids currently at Kilmer and Longfellow invade their precious, dumpy building they have right now![/quote]

I think the argument that Cooper needs a renovation specifically for the AAP students, should they go there, is the one that rankles.  Yes, a renovated building would be great for everyone, but the argument seen here is that the AAP kids absolutely "have" to have a revamped facility or there is no way they could be taught there.  It's laughable.  Talk about the 'snowflake' syndrome.  [/quote]
