Almost daily or every other. They live on opposite coasts.
eww creepy
I usually talk to my mom almost every day...less lately.
I thought it was weird at first, but the reality is that's because I haven't spoken with my own mother in over a dozen years. Also, they are not obsessed with each other. I think DH may have sent her a couple of emails but other than that they didn't communicate during our honeymoon. When our babies were born she waited until we said to come visit and wasn't pushy at all. She is also equally as interested in my life as she is in DH's. When he's traveling she calls me to see how I'm holding up. While it's different from what I get from my own parents (no contact with mother, talk to father about once a month) it's actually kind of nice. She is genuinely interested in us. DH doesn't rush home for his mommytime or walk away from the dinner table at a restaurant to speak with her.
