The entire show is about extreme expectations and extreme results. In the early weeks they denigrate contestants who have "only" lost 10 lbs in one week instead of 30. It doesn't surprise me at all that their unrealistic approach to weight loss would ultimately result in unhealthy behaviors and weights.[/quote]
