That's why he was always attempting to rationalize everything in black and white terms. He knew what he was doing was wrong, but tried to explain it away ("well, if I hadn't killed Chris, he would've killed his wife or daughter, or sent me to prison and destroyed my family")[/quote] But maybe the fact that he could even think there is a rationalization for doing these things shows the disordered thinking that leads a person to do a mass shooting or become a serial killer.[/quote]
