She could still get into JMU in the RD round. EA is not for anyone with less than a 4.0 and impressive extra-curriculars IMHO.

And college admissions is such an unpredictable crap shoot, you can't even predict what will happen with WM based on what JMU did. WM has a very different applicant pool and different people/personalities in admissions.

Your list and my son's are very similar - Gettysburg, Dickinson, JMU, Mary Washington, St Mary's, Delaware, Penn State. How are his chances with a 3.8 GPA (UW) and SAT or 600,600 and 580? (MD resident) Was it a mistake to apply to James Madison U EA?[/quote]
