Wasn't intended as such though I see why it came across that way. I'd just basically finished a long conversation with a Coworker outlining all the pros and cons - of which there were many cons - and ended the discussion with the measly line. Fresh in my mind I repeated it sans context here. The primary point was that I currently have basically no commute and thus a 45 minute to 1 hour twice a day wasn't worth it for a "measly $30k, which after taxes is maybe a bit more than half that.." Put differently we said whether $75 a day was worth sitting in traffic for two hours, and came to the conclusion it wasnt. Absent all that context I'm sure this post came across as douchey but that wasn't my intent. [/quote]
