If it was listed in such a Forbes link, give a link.  Otherwise, "search DCUM for links to articles that say Potomac is better than Sidwell/STA/NCS/GDS I promise you they are there" doesn't really cut it.  Potomac is strong, but the DC schools have an edge because they don't have to compete with, say, TJ, in attracting students.  And the National Merit Semifinalist numbers bear that out.[/quote]

Actually, isn't it a bit ridiculous to suggest that I do my research on a school's reputation or OBJECTIVE rank (to the extent prep schools are even accurately ranked) by searching what misinformed DCUM posters might have to say?  In any event, the link PP was likely referring to can easily be found in first section of this forum, a set of links the administer put up referring to Big 3, Big 5 or whatever.  It wasn't Forbes, but rather Worth, and it was listed as 22 not 20, but do you get the point?  If you care so much about true facts how about you do a little independent research and post some other links that say otherwise. [/quote]
