It's also around the corner from the huge Cathedral Commons center under construction, which is going to make Macomb St a nightmare when it opens. Be forewarned and stay away!
Interesting thought. I've thought the addition of cathedral commons would be a plus for the area.
Agree with the original poster. We used to live in the area. People use Macomb and Newark to cut through so it is super congested already. Cathedral Commons took away a giant parking lot and they are not replacing it with the equivalent number of parking spots. Or, maybe they are, but I don't think it intends to accomodate all visitors. Either way, parking will be unpleasant.
Really? I thought they had to add a certain number of parking spots. Are you talking about the part of Newark and macomb on the west side of Wisconsin? I lived in cp for years and used macomb and Newark all the time on the east of Wisoncisn and never found them quiet. I'd go for walks there and plenty of times you can walk in the street and just duck up to the sidewalk every once in a while when a car comes. Even if there is more traffic, I still think people will like having the newer place rather than the geriatric giant.
