It doesn't seem like this is a matter of "liking older men." It seems that she likes you. Perhaps what you bring to the table, the younger guys who only wanted her for sex (and vice versa) did not have. The quick switch from always dating one type of guy to a totally new type of guy in a month is particular to your girlfriend. I don't think it's cultural or age related. It's a her thing. As to the jealousy...in my experience, that's what someone who is insecure or has been cheated on would do. If both people are secure in a relationship, there's no need for jealousy. My BF thinks some degree of jealousy is good. I'm not a fan personally. I want him to make me feel secure and I'm never going to do things to make him feel insecure. Yet, it still happens b/c there are feelings involved.
Good points! I can see how I'm different...and I do bring a lot of things to the table that other lovers didn't. While she tells me she wasn't a "victim" and these other guys were "just sex", and she was fully aware of the deal and in control of things...when she's told me how she'd get together with one of these boys, there was no "date"; no real conversation; frigg, she wouldn't even let them spend the night and sleep with her! There was just small talk, texting, sex for hours, and they'd get dressed and she would show him the door, or he'd say, "I gotta run" and that was that, until next time. She giggles that I'm so boggled by how these boys acted with her, and treated her. She gets a bit defensive when I say that, reminding me how she was in control of everything, and they didn't "do" anything to her and so on. I still have a hard time wrapping my mind around it though. It makes me wonder what planet these guys are from, you know? When I was in the Marine Corps, I had many girlfriends, as did my buddies. Many girls. However, even when we were with a young woman that we knew marriage was unlikely...or even desired as a shared goal, damn, we still talked, took them out on dates, and treated them like ladies. My girlfriend saw some pics of me in the Marine Corps...she giggled and blushed, and she told me, "Damn, boy, you were smoking hot! You're handsome now, too, but...wow! I can see why you were so popular with the women!" Women frequently flirt with me now, if not as much or as boldly as when I was younger. I tell her, really, no worries. I'm happy with you, and I'm not interested in pursuing other women at all. I told her I love her. She says she gives me everything; she cooks for me, does laundry, cleans, she has sex with me nearly every day, and often several times in a day, she's faithful and devoted to me. I tell her she's gorgeous, I'm happy with her, and she has no worries what so ever. Centurion
