With conservatives, it's always a rogue agent.  If a white Christian shoots up a church, it's not because he is a radicalized Christian.  It's because he's mentally ill.  If a conservative politician has a scandal, he's not responsible; it's an underling going rogue.  If you are the state chair of your party and you admit to voter suppression, the party isn't responsible.
