No, it will not matter one way or another.  If he is going to buy these kinds of gifts, he is going to buy them whether or not you are a gracious receiver.

Guys who like Harleys that much are likely not to notice if your daughter wore the outfit every day or just once to be polite.  It is not on their radar.

If you are this worried about it, then next year (or around her bday) start dropping obvious hints to BIL.  "Little Larla is so into princesses this year.  Everything is pink and Disney for her.  You will be the best uncle ever if you could find her this sparkle princess dress up costume."  Or "Larla has decided to be a ballerina when she grows up.  Keep an eye out for corns and tutus...I believe Target has a line.  She will love you forever if you show up with something ballerina for her birthday."

Obvious hints that are not insulting to his biker tastes.  Guys are simple.  He just wants to get her something that he thinks is adorable.  Channel that love towards whatever it is that works for your family, but don't insult the gift giver.[/quote]
