I got my hair colored gray when low-lights where put into my blond hair, paid about the same for it. Never again...now I actually get them done in Europe whenever possible.
Thanks for the laugh! Already I was chortling over the $270.00 cut and highlights, but now someone goes to Europe to color their hair. Here's some advice: You can actually have your hair cut for less than $25.00 ( YEP- you really can, and it will be a fine hair cut) and you can use Nice and Easy for about $7.00.Even less with a coupon. AND IT WILL LOOK GREAT!!!! it's the same crap they use in your salon and it will wash out and/or oxidize at the same rate as your salon color. Your hair will grow out at the same rate and your roots will show the same way. Save your money!
Highlights are a lot different than all over color. You can't replicate highlights at home and it's a skill to do them well. Also you get what you pay for with a $25 haircut and a $7 dye job. It's fine if you don't care and it's great if you're happy with the results. But don't kid yourself there's no difference.
