Our school district has just switched to a new Language Arts Basal Series written by Pearson. It has Common Core stamped all over it, cover to cover, and lists the "Common Core Objectives" in each lesson ... but while there is nothing wrong with the actual objectives, the curriculum Pearson came up with and the books they have kids reading suck on ice.[/quote]
