Yes -- but how many of us would actually spend the day helping others instead of fasting for the day? The point of Ramadan (and I'm not suggesting I am good at observing so no judgment from me) is to show you how it feels to be poor and only get a meal a day and still have to work and keep up with your regular schedule. It's supposed to make you more aware and thankful for what you have.[/quote]
