More to the point, I don't understand the idea that the guest is supposed to lie and tell the host, when the host asks ahead of time, that yes, pork tenderloin is fine (although it isn't), on grounds that the host will then go to the effort of preparing pork tenderloin because the guest answered that pork tenderloin was fine (although it wasn't).[/quote]
