That's the last time I ever took diet pills and diuretics and not only jump started weight loss (I was trying so hard to lose 5 pounds so I could be 110 lbs) but also jump started an eating disorder. Really, don't do this! I now have had heart issues (palpitations and irregular heartbeat) that stem from disordered eating and intense focus on weight loss/maintenance. [/quote] Do you think you would have listened 30 years ago? The info about how to lose weight in a healthy manner has not changed much. Everyone wants the easy way. It is not easy, it has gotten a lot more workable with a lot of apps that make tracking what you eat easier and there is more readily available info on nutritional content of foods. But the basic info that quick fixes don't work and can do damage has not changed. This is setting aside medical problems, which can be real. I completely agree with the PP's recommendation re getting your thyroid checked if you have cravings that are debilitating.[/quote]
