If you are disclosing, then you have to put it on the application. That's the way it goes.  OP, I don't think you are being paranoid, and I think disclosing is probably the right thing to do, but I also urge you to have a back-up plan - public school, another year in your child's current program, whatever, just in case.[/quote]
