I here see that former politicals still have big egos and think themselves better than career folks.  There's a reason for career folks to be in place, and a reason for poiticals to come in.   I appreciate the difference, and would hope that politicals would also appreciate the reason careers are in place, and why they stay in place through all of the changes.  It's incorrect to state that all politicals rule the day all day.   Careers also want to serve the United States.  Many of the plum jobs are low-level.  [/quote]
