I have a legal prescription for pot and smoke every single day - about 10 minutes before I go to bed. It solves all of my sleep problems without any of the side effects of sleeping pills and I wake up sober and ready for each day, so saying that someone smokes "every day" can mean a variety of things. The key is to identify the problem with his usage and address that specifically. Yes, he broke his promise to you, but if the alternative treatment for his "medical condition" is that he gets whacked out on xanax or vicodin...personally I'd prefer my partner smoke pot! Think about what the fundamental issues are and address them directly with DH; in situations like this, calm, rational specificity is your best bet.[/quote]
