There are many different neighborhoods in 20852. Some are filled with large lovely homes that sell for close to $1m, others have much smaller homes with greater diversity and higher crime rates. Some areas feed to WJ cluster schools, and some feed to Wheaton cluster schools. Hard to say anything singular about the whole zip code other than that its close to a lot of stuff, and generally metro accessible.
Agree. 20852 is a big zip code and has many different levels of housing. Depending on your price range, I'd really consider that quadrangle that is formed by Tuckerman to the south, Montrose to the North, Old Georgetown to the East and 270 to the west. There is a neighborhood south of Tuckerman called Windermere that is pretty too. I love the Luxmanor neighborhood. Pretty houses and large lots but expensive!
