After I posted, I thought it seemed wrong, and checked with my middle schooler, who told me the cellists and bassists have both school and home instruments. As for buses with room for cellos, our base school buses are all too crowded for cellos, but the AAP center bus is half empty, luckily for us. I don't know if I'd encourage cello if I had to drive a kid. Bus is quicker for me. [/quote]
