If someone is short on time, it's good to start with something they can reasonably incorporate into the day and do consistently over a period of time. Then increase the time to 45 minutes, maintain it for a while. The biggest cause of failure to maintain a workout routine is to do too much at first so that it is unsustainable. The most successful workouts are the one a person actually will continue to do. Also, I think if you are doing intervals (with light weights and cardio segments), 30 minutes can give you a good workout. [/quote]
