Interesting, I did not realize they would give an epi before pitocin. I have talked to family members who have been induced and, indeed, they did say the pitocin contractions are more intense that natural contractions. They all had their epidurals after pitocin started. But, I will definitely talk to the doc about the possibility of an epidural before pitocin starts. Thanks! [/quote]
