I operate my own daycare and have transported children to/from preschool (the furthest away being roughly 10 miles maybe) and never once did i have a parent complain nor did the county ever tell me I shouldnt be doing it nor it was against any regulations. They will most likely say if you arent comfortable with that, move onto another provider. I tell prospective clients up front that I do transport, what we do while we are out, they have my cell phone number and are free to call me at any point, but they are also aware if I am busy with the kids OR driving, I will NOT answer the phone. I let them know up front if they are not comfortable with this arrangement, then they shouldnt consider joining my daycare. Simple. [/quote]
