If wait lists were free, imagine how much work it would be to call everyone on the list when a spot opened, only to find out who didn't really want/need it. It would take 10x the amount of effort and time of employees who could otherwise be working at other tasks in the center. OP -it should have been pretty obvious when you wrote the check that the fee was non-refundable. Too bad, so sad.[/quote]
