Honestly, these are our parents. You should be able to share your feelings with them. It's simple, just say "Ma, I work all week and run around doing errands, I'd really like to bond with my kids on those weekends they are not at sports/camps/activities.  THanks for understanding, maybe we can work out the sleepover weekends another time in the future."

Also, maybe THEY need time in their house to get stuff done. Could that be why they are suggesting taking the grandkids so often and for entire weekends? THen they'd totally understand that you want to spend time with your kids, nuclear family and enjoy your house, etc. [/quote]
