FFX County animal shelter - so many pit bulls. Same with the rescue orgs. Wow!
Yeah, but look at Buttercup there. She is only part PB and got an A+ (!!) on her temperament test. This means she is gentle with dogs, cats, other animals, all people, kids, babies, etc.! WOW. All the rescue groups and the shelters do these temperament tests on them and can tell you exactly about their personalities, so, don't get scared away just by their breed (or, even, part of their breed)! Remember: PBs used to be considered family dogs and were called "the nanny dog" b/c they were so dependable and loyal with the kids. :) Remember Petey the dog from Little Rascals? ;) And, also the symbol for RCA (the record company) and Buster Brown Shoes! :) It's all in how they are raised, and it varies from dog to dog, so ask athe rescue group or shelter. Look at all these pics of cute PBs in the olden days with their charges :) http://www.ywgrossman.com/photoblog/?p=676
