If you cancel last minute due to complications from surgery you knew would be scheduled seems rather flaky and unprofessional. I would ask your doctor if there are other issues other than the lifting. You will most likely be dehydrated and flying will make you more so. When I had laparoscopic surgery, I vomited a lot even the next day as a reaction to the anesthetic. Apparently, it's a common side effect. This would be even less fun at the airport or on a plane.[/quote]
