My son was almost 11 pounds and went right into size 3 to 6 months. I had already bought and washed (to be ready) a ton of NB and 0-3 that I was stuck with and couldn't use. Also, for the first few months, I recommend infant gowns. They make it so much easier to do diaper changes all through the night, when you are so sleep deprived. Don't do the 0-3 dresses. The velcro swaddlers are very useful.[/quote]
