Cheaper and fewer distractions of games, itunes and so forth. Works great for a middle schooler. OP-- you mentioned wanting it for both school and games... not sure there is one device that is best for both. Consider your budget and what you expect him to do for school, then go to the store and try things out :)[/quote]
