that's not cruelty also it is irresponsible for cat owners to let their house cats roam free and also dangerous because they will bring in diseases to the indoors. It should be illegal to have outdoor unattended cats.
Sorry poster, youre sick in head and uninformed. It IS cruelty to lay out poison and very DANGEROUS to ALL LIVING THINGS. Could be eaten by any living thing including other dogs. Vaccinated cats do not "bring in diseases to the indoors" any more than humans who track stuff on their shoes. As long as cats and dogs are flea and tick treated, and vaccinated, the main danger to cats and from cats is to and from other cats (and to birds, but not so much if cats are fed) because they fight and get beat up. As a person who owns both dogs and cats, I dont understand this bizarre contempt for cats. Peeing on the grill- that sounds very much like a feral cat thing. A cat will pee on something that already smells kind of funky. If the grill was dirty and "pungent" that could have been an attractant. WHy does the grill not have cover? I mean, insects and birdpoop, this you are ok with? Put a cover on it. Unless it DID have a plastic cover? In which case I will say that cats do like to pee on plastic, for reasons unknown. If I had my druthers, my cats would be indoor cats, to protect them from dogs, cars and ignorant hate filled humans! Luckily my cats are homebodies and love being in our own yard.
