Because of the severity of his reaction, he only received the DT shot for the remaining childhood vaccines. Your unvaccinated child absolutely poses a risk to kids who cannot, for legitimate medical reasons, receive a vaccine. Luckily, when my son was little, most people were smart enough to vaccinate and Pertussis wasn't on the increase.[/quote]
